In the Philippines’ rapidly evolving digital economy, Total Information Management Corporation (TIM) has long stood as a pillar of innovation. With nearly four decades of experience, TIM has shaped the nation’s IT backbone—delivering critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and connectivity solutions to the country’s most essential sectors.

In 2021, TIM embarked on a bold new milestone: the development of its C2 Data Center. This purpose-built, three-story facility was designed to host over 500 racks and serve as a crucial hub for carrier-neutral services, hybrid solutions, and global networking capabilities.

At the heart of this multi-million-dollar mission stood one uncompromising requirement: power reliability without compromise. The C2 Data Center demanded a power infrastructure capable of achieving and sustaining world-class uptime standards.

Mission Critical Power: Engineering Reliability Into Every Layer of the Data Center

Building a modern, hyperscale Data Center demands absolute power integrity. In this environment, even a momentary power fluctuation can translate into massive data loss, financial impact, and compromised client trust. The central challenge is not just generating power, but ensuring its faultless delivery and Tier-IV redundancy across every operational layer.

The project team faced critical mandates:

The Solution: Engineering Reliability Into Every Layer

To meet the mission-critical uptime requirements, Kilton Motor Corporation worked hand-in-hand with TIM to integrate Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ (MHI) proven generator technology into a fully redundant system. This partnership delivered reliability engineered into every layer of the power architecture:
